These terms are the agreement between you and Castworth LLC, a Colorado company ("Castworth," "we," or "us"), for using the Castworth app and website. By creating an account or using Castworth, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Castworth.
The short version
Castworth is a tool for forecasting and organizing your cash flow. It connects to your bank accounts with read-only access (or uses what you enter yourself), sorts your transactions, and shows you what's likely coming so you can plan.
Castworth is not a financial advisor, tax preparer, investment advisor, accountant or lawyer, and nothing in the app, its emails or its chat assistant is financial, tax, investment or legal advice. For decisions like those, talk with a qualified professional.
Your forecast is built from your bank data, your plans and patterns in your past spending. Real life changes: bills move, paychecks vary, banks report late or make mistakes. Forecasts are estimates, not guarantees, and they are only as good as the information behind them. Always check your bank before making a payment or a big decision.
Castworth has read-only access to your accounts. It cannot make payments, transfers or withdrawals, and it never will. Anything you do with your money, you do yourself through your bank or other providers.
Castworth uses AI to suggest how to sort transactions, read screenshots and statements, and answer questions in the chat assistant. AI can make mistakes. Please check what it suggests. When you confirm, save or ask for a change, that change is yours, just as if you made it by hand. If you connect an outside AI app such as ChatGPT, what it does on your behalf is also covered by that provider's own terms.
Please use Castworth for its purpose: understanding and planning your own money. You agree not to:
We may limit, pause or close an account that breaks these rules.
Some Castworth plans are paid. If you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe, and you'll see the price before you pay. You can cancel any time in the app under Account, then Plan & billing, then Manage billing. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. Unless the law requires it, payments are not refundable. If we change a price, we'll tell you ahead of time.
Castworth, its design and its software belong to Castworth LLC. Your data belongs to you. You give us permission to use it only to run Castworth for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
Castworth relies on other companies, like Plaid for bank connections. Their services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. Banks and these services sometimes go down or send wrong information, and that can affect what you see in Castworth.
We work hard to make Castworth accurate and reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties of any kind, including that Castworth will be error-free, always available, or right for your particular needs.
To the extent the law allows, Castworth LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost money, overdraft or late fees, or lost data, that come from using or relying on Castworth. Our total liability for any claim about Castworth is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
If you break these terms or the law while using Castworth and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from that claim.
You can stop using Castworth and delete your account at any time in the app under Account, then Privacy & data, then Delete account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and we may stop offering Castworth with reasonable notice. Sections that should naturally continue after your account ends (like no warranty and limits on liability) still apply.
We may update these terms as Castworth grows. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Castworth after that, you agree to the new terms. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado, unless the law where you live says otherwise. Before going to court, please email us first; most problems can be solved quickly.
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given up the right to later. You can't transfer these terms to someone else, but we may transfer them if Castworth is sold or merged. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Castworth.
If you turn on text messages, you agree to receive texts from Castworth about your account and replies to texts you send us, at the mobile number you confirm. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time and HELP for help, or email support@castworth.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
